31.03.2024 IIFL JITO Ahimsa Run “ RUN FOR PEACE AND NON VOILENCE” Marathon Event held on 31ST March,2024@5.30am, ONE NATION, ONE RUN, JITO Faridabad Chapter. With over 1000 participants, a very successful one of its kind Marathon event for the second time in Faridabad, IIFL JITO Ahimsa Run marathon 2024 for 3KM,5KM and 10KM was organised by JTIO Faridabad Chapter at DPS GREATER FARIDABAD SECTOR-81, Faridabad @5.30am in the morning. It was a timed run for 5 KM & 10KM. In order to promote peace & non-violence, a Global step taken by JAIN INTERNATIONAL TRADE ORGANIZATION (JITO). Shri Praveen Ranka, Chairman welcomed all the participants and informed that JITO is a Global organization with three major objectives of Knowledge, Economic-Empowerment and Seva of the society at large. JITO strives to achieve socio-economic empowerment, value-based education, community welfare, the practice of compassion, and the spiritual enhancement of fellow beings through global friendship. As an implementing agency under Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) towards Women empowerment, education & to spread awareness of peace, this event was organised today at 69 locations at the same time @5.30am It aims to spread awareness of peace, non-violence, love & unity for a better world. Chief Guest Shri Krishan Palji, Union Minister of state for Power & Heavy Industry congratulated JITO for its global step to work for Peace & non violence. He specifically impressed upon the JITO and its contribution to the society. He said Ahimsa Parmo Dharam, is great philosophy of Lord Mahavira & we all sholud follow it. Shri Narender Guptaji, MLA Faridabad have also congratulated JITO team for organizing such a wonderful event & extended full cooperation & support for the success of the event. Shri Rajesh Nagar, MLA also congratulated the participants & remain part of award ceremony. Shri Rohit Jain, Pro-vice Chairman of DPS Greater Faridabad also impressed upon Ahimsa & Non Violence and conveyed his sincere thanks to JITO for selcting his School as Venue Partner. Dr Bindu Sharma,Principal of DPS greater Faridabad Sector 81, Ms Ritu Jain with her team were present. The 5KM & 10 KM run was timed run fully automated to track & identify the winners. Shri Sudhir Jaini, Chief Secretary of JITO Faridabad declared 3 winners each in 3km,5km & 10 KM and Trophy and Gifts were presented to all winners. In order to promote “ Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” , JITO management also declared 3 special awards for Female participants in each category of 3KM,5KM & 10KM. Special award was presented to Specially able female Runner. Magician C P Yadav & Smt Sapna Jain managed the event as a Master of Ceremony. Magician Shri Yadav presented his wonderful tricks to entertain the participants. Zumba Trainer Ms Saavi Singh & Yoga trainer Smt Archana Gupta took the event to next level with wonderful steps.
